These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SafeFamily mobile applications and website (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

IMPORTANT: This is a parental monitoring tool. You must be a parent or legal guardian to use this Service. You must inform your child that monitoring is taking place. Unauthorized monitoring is illegal.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SafeFamily, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any part, you may not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SafeFamily
You must be the parent or legal guardian of the child being monitored
You must have legal authority to consent to monitoring
You must inform your child that monitoring is active

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information
You are responsible for maintaining account security
You must not share your account credentials
You are responsible for all activity under your account
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

4. Permitted Use

You may use SafeFamily ONLY for:

Monitoring your own minor children's devices (with their knowledge)
Protecting children from online dangers (cyberbullying, predators, etc.)
Managing screen time and app usage

5. Prohibited Use

You may NOT use SafeFamily to:

Monitor adults without their explicit consent (illegal wiretapping)
Stalk, harass, or spy on anyone
Violate any local, state, national, or international law
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
Interfere with or disrupt the Service
Upload viruses, malware, or malicious code
Resell or redistribute the Service

Violation of these restrictions may result in criminal prosecution.

6. Subscription & Payment

6.1 Free Tier

Limited to 1 device, 7-day history
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier

6.2 Paid Subscriptions

Billed monthly or annually via Stripe or in-app purchase
Prices displayed in Euros (EUR), may vary by region
Automatically renews unless canceled
No refunds for partial months (except as required by law)

6.3 Cancellation

Cancel anytime via app settings or website
Access continues until end of billing period
No refunds for unused time (except as required by law)

6.4 Price Changes

We may change prices with 30 days' notice
New prices apply to renewal, not current period
You may cancel if you disagree with new pricing

7. Data & Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:

We collect monitored activity data (apps, web, location, messages)
We use AI (OpenAI) to analyze chat messages for safety threats
We retain data for limited periods (30-90 days)
You can request data deletion anytime

8. AI Safety Analysis

Our AI chat monitoring:

Is NOT 100% accurate (false positives/negatives may occur)
Should NOT replace parental supervision and communication
May not detect all threats (use as one tool, not sole solution)
Analyzes messages for: cyberbullying, sexting, drugs, self-harm, predators

You are ultimately responsible for your child's safety. SafeFamily is a tool to assist, not replace, parental oversight.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

No guarantee of uninterrupted or error-free operation
No guarantee of 100% accurate threat detection
No guarantee that the Service will prevent all harmful activity
No guarantee of data security (though we use industry standards)

Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion of implied warranties, so the above may not apply to you.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAFEFAMILY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
Service interruptions or errors
Third-party actions (e.g., child's actions despite monitoring)

Total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the past 12 months (or €100, whichever is less).

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SafeFamily harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
Your violation of any laws or third-party rights
Unauthorized monitoring or illegal use

12. Intellectual Property

SafeFamily and all related trademarks, logos, and content are our property. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute our software
Use our trademarks without written permission
Create derivative works

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:

Violate these Terms
Use the Service for illegal purposes
Fail to pay subscription fees
Engage in abusive behavior

Upon termination:

Your access to the Service ends immediately
We may delete your data after 30 days (backup retention)
No refunds for remaining subscription time

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict of law principles.

14.2 Arbitration (US Users)

Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration (AAA rules), not court, except:
